Freelanced for HW Productions, Los Angeles, California, USA as a translator; transcribed Urdu interviews and dialogue into English; the work was done for a Hollywood documentary feature film in spring 2006.

Social Services
1.
The founding member of Help in Education and Literacy Promotion (HELP), an adocacy group started working in Khairpur (Mir's) from March 2007. This advocacy group is working on career counseling and career development. HELP organized a seminar on "Career Development" on April 19, 2007.
2.
Remained Vice President of Beacon Educational Society Khairpur Pakistan from its inception in 1999 to September 2004. Beacon Educational Society established an English Learning center in Khairpur which is impacting English language literacy to the youth of Khairpur.
3.
Member of Central Executive Committee of a Khairpur based Group of Amnesty International. This group raises its voice against the human rights violations and social evils in the area.
4.
Worked as a General Secretary of Citizens Community Board (CCB) Dabbar and Bhurgari from its inception in 2002 until going to the US in fall 2004. Getting approval for the construction of Govt. Mumtaz College Khairpur library building was major achievement.
5.
Member of Central Executive Committee of Citizens Community Board(CCB) village Mithri, taluka Kot Diji, District Khairpur. This CCB constructed a mosque in village Mithri and repaired compound wall of Boys High School Mithri.
